Add a family recipe
Two easy ways to get a recipe into the collection. Pick whichever is easier for you.
Option 1: Fill out the recipe form
Best when you want to type it out yourself. The form walks you through it: photos of the card, your name, the recipe title, whose recipe it is, and any stories or notes that go with it. You can attach up to 10 photos right in the form.
Option 2: Drop card photos in the shared folder
Best when you're sitting on a stack of cards. Just photograph them and drop the photos in the shared folder, as many as you like. They'll be read, transcribed word for word, and added here.
Tips for photographing cards
Snap a clear photo of each card, front and back if needed. Good light and a straight-on angle help a lot.
If you have a photo of the finished dish, include it too. It may be shown with the recipe on the site.
Don't worry about order or naming the files. Just get the photos in and we'll sort them out.
What happens next
Every card is transcribed exactly as written. If a word or measurement is hard to read, the recipe says so instead of guessing. New recipes land on the site for the whole family to cook.
